HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES AND MATERIALS

1. The transportation, storage and use of hazardous substances and materials must be carried out by appropriately trained personnel, according to the legislation in force and established acceptable practices.

2. The use of hazardous substances and materials must be limited only to cases where it is absolutely necessary and for which the existing alternative substances do not efficiently fulfill the objective of their operational use. Also, they must conform to the corresponding special provisions – restrictions of EU and national legislation.
