ACOUSTIC NOISE – VIBRATIONS
The Armed Forces should reduce acoustic noise and vibrations created by their activities in an economically and technically feasible way while maintaining the required operational capacity. Within this framework, they will have to:
a. Plan and carry out all projects and activities, taking into account the land uses of the affected areas,
b. Apply acceptable various organizational practices (such as avoiding flying over residential/tourist areas/protected areas and monuments, setting minimum limits on unavoidable low flying operations limiting noisy activity during regular working hours.)
c. Identify the acoustic noise and the vibrations generated by the works and activities of the Armed Forces,
d. Use modern technical means to reduce the production and propagation of noise and vibration.
